Anima & Animus

Anima is the feminine part of a man's psyche, and Animus is the masculine part of a woman's psyche; in fact, both are archetypes of gender and are largely unconscious archetypes (by Jung C.G.)

Don't forget the opposite aspects of yourself and live in harmony.

Femininity and masculinity are implemented in this work using image generation based on StableDiffusion. A portrait of a ?-gender person was used as a basis, and when generating images for Anima, the main generation criterion was Femininity. For Animus – Masculinity.

This work is intended to remind us of how modern tools, and especially AI, are able to reflect and manifest various human properties, as well as attach concepts to the artist’s vision. Will this be a new round of development of personalized images in art or will we be facing another cultural crisis?
